How do I log in?

All users must first register for an account before logging in.

How do I make a booking?

  1. To book a class or courts please select either Classes or Activities from the selections on the left. Once you have made your selection, you will be asked to pick your activity or class (this will default to 'All Classes', allowing you to see all the classes scheduled for that day)
  2. Following this, please select your preferred date. The times will be automatically generated to recognise when the class or activity can take place and finally click Search.
  3. Once you have selected your booking and added it to your basket, you need to confirm that you accept the Terms and Conditions by ticking the box and click Checkout.
  4. Finally, you will see a summary of the booking that you have selected. To confirm the booking is made you must click on the 'Confirm Bookings' link. You will receive a confirmation email of your booking and the confirmation page allows you to print your receipt if you wish.

How far ahead can I book?

Members can book classes up to 6 days in advance. For example, if you wish to book a class for Saturday you can book from 0630 hours on the Sunday before.

How many courts or class places can I book online?

Members can hold up to 10 courts or classes that have been booked online in any 6 day period. You may book more but any extra in excess of 10 need to be booked via reception at any Sports Centre.

How do I cancel a booking?

  1. You may cancel a pre-booked class place or activity booking online, using your Account history, provided that the class/activity has not commenced.
  2. Click the Account history tab to view your booking history.
  3. Use the tabs and dropdown list to locate the class/activity that you wish to cancel.
  4. Click the delete icon next to the class name/activity to cancel your booking.
  5. Your booking will be instantly removed from your booking history.

What if I don’t cancel my place and don’t show up?

We would encourage all users to cancel their class place as soon as they know they are not going to be able to make it – even at the last moment. We can then offer your place to another user. For persistent offenders, we may withdraw the online booking benefit from them.

What should I do when I show up?

Please report to reception on your way into the facility –we then know that you are here and ready to attend the class. At the University Sports Centre you are also required to collect a class band that you hand to the teacher at the start of the class. No band – No class!

What if I’m late?

Don’t be late! The warm up and welcome are important parts of the class.

We will hold your place until the advertised start time of the class. If you are not present at the start time we reserve the right to offer your place to another member.

Help! I can’t make a booking!

Firstly, check your language setting in your browser. It needs to be set to UK English and not American English as this affects the way your Date of Birth information is inspected.

If you still cannot register, call reception at any Sports Centre and they will make the booking for you.

Thereafter, talk them through the problems that you are having and they will try and assist you. If unable to do so, they will highlight the issue to our online booking team.

How late can I book a class online?

Online bookings are accepted until 60 minutes before the class starts. Thereafter bookings must be made via at reception.

If I book a class at reception can I cancel it online?

Unfortunately not. If you book via reception your place can only be cancelled by reception staff - so just give them a quick ring and they will cancel your place for you.

Can I book classes using my smart phone or other mobile device?

Whilst access is possible, the online booking system is not currently optimised for use on mobile devices so you may find it awkward to use. We hope to improve this part of the service in future!
